LIVIO MINAFRA PIANO SOLO

Since 1999 more than 150 concerts in all the world for the most representative project by Livio Minafra: the piano solo.
Sofia, Bogotà, Melbourne, Adana, Lisboa, Paris, Rome, Lyon, Köln, Berlin, Wien, Moscow, Kiev, Osaka, Okinawa, Sidney, Montevideo, London, Locarno, Belgrade, Ljubljana, etc.

Three cds, three stories. One with the English label Leo Records La dolcezza del Grido, the second for the German one Enja Records La fiamma e il cristallo and the last production Sole Luna for the Italian label Incipit Records. A trip with his own compositions swimming in a spontaneous mix of classical music, world music and that special free soul of the jazz: improvisation.

Particularly his last project Sole Luna involves a loop station and the possibility to interplay with light designer turning the concert into a show where lights and colours together with all Minafra’s compositions take the viewer by the hand in a trip between the shining Sun and the delicate Moon.
